Hi there, and welcome to Sunny Vacations' blog "My Ideal Vacation". We always dream of the perfect vacation spot to go visit and relax either by ourselves, with a special someone, a BF or family. Then there are all the obstacles that comes in the way, which prevent us from realizing that dream or goal. Maybe you get to take a vacation every year, maybe your work or lifestyle only allows you to take one every 2 years or longer - a week or 4 weeks.

Save up for it, prepare and plan for it. Take the time and GO! There is no time like the present. Don't say later if I had known or I should have ... could have... You will be surprized how easy it is and how enjoyable you will find it. Many persons I know who never stopped to take the time, when they finally take the trip they have been planning for so long, they find they enjoy it so much they want to plan  right away for the next year.

Deep down no matter who you are, as humans we have this innate desire to travel, to explore, to discover new places, landscapes, cultures, people... we crave the desire to break away from the regular humdrum and the continuous routine of everyday life. We crave relax, we crave connection, reconnection, rejuvenation.

We are inviting you to share with us about what your ideal vacation is like. What is on your bucket list? What have you done already and crossed off the list ... What countries, or hotels you have been to and have now become your favourite place and what places you have visited and would like to go there again.

Below are two photos taken years ago of 2 of my ideal vacation spots. And yes it is snow, but I am in a sleeveless top because I had just hiked up a mountain over 2000m ( almost 8000 ft) high at the top (in the Swiss Alps) and was pretty warm by the time I got there. Below is me and other half on top the Duomo in Milan, Italy.

Feel free to share your vacation tips... secrets, photos or whatever tidbits of interest you have about a particular place that could help others.

Until soon,
Tash
